I Asked God . . .

Saturday, 17 November 2007 | Written by Sentosa Girl | Tagged under Annoying, God's Love. | Permalink |

Brought YZ to my cell group meeting last night. Glad that she enjoy the meeting and meeting new friends. She will be coming for today’s service. Pray that she will feel the love of God in her life. Thankfully for Lynn to be there to translate English to Chinese for her to understand better.

Sometimes I just wish the auto-transfer calls phone will be brought into my company. Hate the beeping sound beeping back to me after I transferred the call to the person and the person had not answered the call. And worst, when I pick up again, the caller had hang up. Can’t the phone (at my side) just hang up the call when the caller is already hang up? Without beeping back to me? *Erm* Do you get what I mean? If you do not understand, let me know.

This stadium is amazing. It can be an indoor or an outdoor stadium. Amazing isn’t it?

Taken from my email that my friend emailed me.

I Asked God . . .I asked God to do away my vices.
God said no
They are not for Me to take them away. They are there for you to resist them.
I asked God complete my body.
God said no
Your body is complete, your body is only temporary
I asked God to give me patience.
God said no
Patience is a byproduct of difficulties. It is not given but learned.
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said no
I give you blessings. Happiness depends upon you.
I asked God to free me from pain.
Suffering makes you go far away from this world and brings you nearer to me.
I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said no
You have to grow by yourself! But I will prune you to make you bear fruit
I asked God for the things that would make me like life.
God said no
I will give you life so you can enjoy those things.
I asked God to help me love the others, like He loves me.
God said: . . . Ohhh, you finally got the idea . . .

To the world, you may mean just a person, but to a person, you may mean the world.
