Just reading the first paragraph below (taken from My Paper), the police is still looking at the photos in Edison’s possession. *What the* Aren’t they suppose to stop people from spreading the photos? Then they start “sentencing” him? My view is that, there should be a way to stop spreading the photos or videos out. Clearly he, Edison, had stated that it is for personal. And they are not suppose to be shown out to anyone. Even Wiki have an article about the scandal, too. (-_-”)

ACTOR-SINGER Edison Chen might have returned to Hong Kong to apologise but the nuclear fallout continues. Five more women are said to be involved in the sex scandal, after the police found more pictures in Chen’s possession, says Sing Tao Daily. They add to a list of seven named so far, including artistes Gillian Chung and Cecilia Cheung. Singaporean blogger Dawn Yang, 24, is glad that she is not one of them. She revealed that she met the actor through friends while holidaying in Japan in 2004. In her blog on Stomp, the Straits Times’ social networking and citizen media website, she said Chen made salacious propositions to her over Internet messaging. She wrote: “When the pictures first leaked, I seriously thanked God I was not foolish, naive, or feeling frisky beyond control.” She described Chen as a “young, hot-blooded man” who can “get any girl he wants, and he knows it”. Meanwhile, ex-artiste Bobo Chan, 28, has been deemed the most pitiful victim of the scandal by Hong Kong netizens. Chan’s relationship with her financial whiz fiance is said to be on the rocks. Yesterday, she got more sympathy when rumours circulated that she could be three months pregnant. However, the leading man in the sexcapade appeared to escape unscathed, career-wise. Although he said that he would quit Hong Kong showbiz, Apple Daily reported that Chen could have a Hollywood career. He apparently impressed director Christopher Nolan in the new Batman film, The Dark Knight, with his baddie cameo so much that he has won a larger role in another sequel. Accordingly, while Chen was in North America when the scandal broke, he had found time to audition for the Batman film. EDISON Chen – girls, ladies, and even tai-tais (if reports of his having photos of several wives of Hong Kong’s richest tycoons are true) the world over fawn over him and are enamoured of him. I confess. I used to be one of his admirers many years ago. My friend even gave me an Edison toy, complete with his baggy hip hop gear and diamond ear stud, as a Christmas present one year. This was when I was a teen and I have long since grown out of that silly phase. Still, I was, frankly, neither all that shocked nor surprised when the controversy first exploded. I already kind of knew the sort of past-time Eddie indulged in. I was introduced to him by mutual friends in 2004. Does anyone dare argue that he’s abnormal or the only man around like that? Why make him out to be such a jerk? I think he’s really lucky that all the women he beds do it because they like him, not because he’s some filthy rich old man who buys expensive gifts and gets them movie roles or record deals. So, Eddie has an exhibitionistic streak and likes to film his bedroom antics and keep sexy photos of his many conquests. To me, that’s fine – he’s not the first, really. Many people have such a fetish, yes? But, he should at least have the brains and common sense to keep these scandalous materials safely locked away. Those women in the photos have themselves to blame as well – I don’t see why Eddie should take the brunt of the fall. They were willing participants. Very willing in fact, judging from the enthusiastic poses and, urm, licking. As big stars with a lot to lose and money-spinning careers at stake, they should have erred on the side of caution. This also brings up the question of hypocrisy and celebrities fulfilling their “duties” as role models for the young. These stars are after all human, and like most people out there, would have a sex life too. Can they not be wild in bed in private, but keep a proper and clean public image? By the time I read mum’s sms, I was late. Today is steam boat dinner! I love steam boat dinner. Especially it is vegetarian. Cos, I don’t usually eat seafood. When I reached home, they already had finished having their dinner. And I only left to eat alone.
