I really hate Starhub. The SCV box keeps giving me problem. Can’t watch tv at all. Yesterday went down to Starhub at Vivo City. Today went down, it is not open yet, and there is staffs around. Asked them to change a new box on the spot as it only took two to three minutes to do so. They refused. What is this, man. Called the main office is no use. What kind of service is this? They should have a brand new set in the shop itself. The shop is not a factory that produce new sets. They should must have a brand new set and should be able to change for you on the spot. I told them that I got no time to wait till they open (I reached there at 10.45am, and they open at 11.00am). By the time they open, I need to be in GV already. And straight after the movie, I need to rush off to work. Fed up, I told them I leave the box with them and after the movie, I come and pick a new box.
Asked them to test it on the tv, they said it is not possible. What!! They have four tvs to be able to test it. They don’t allow. What the hack. I hate the service, okay. Felt cancelling the subscription already.
Got home and set it up. And still having the same problem. *Duh* At first, can only watch local channels only. Called the Starhub helpline, can watch other channels. But then, the beeping sound and pixels problem is still there. What is wrong with the damn SCV?
Taking half day leave makes the day goes faster.
