Multi-Tasking

She did help with the rejects goods. She is doing orders. Yet, the whole day, she is only uploads orders and doing six rejects. Uploading orders took only five to ten minutes. And there is only nine orders today. Four orders is uploaded by me. When asked her to extract orders for printing, I have to kept telling her to extract it out. Told her that when uploading it in the SAP computer, she have to look at the computer to check whether it had finished uploaded in. She didn’t bother to check and continue to do her stuffs. Instead, thru-out the whole day, I’m doing the printing of invoices. What if I’m not working today? Is she able to do it all? No. Cos she can’t do multi-tasking. Once she is doing the rejects, she will hundred percent focus on it. And ignore other work. I want her to be independent. Yet I can’t see her doing independently. When I told her that since she is doing orders, yet she did not finish what she suppose to do. She says she did. Yes, she did upload the orders. What about printing them out? Did she do it? I have to remind her to extract it out for printing, and upload it for printing, then process with printing. Did she do it all without me reminding her? No. JL wants to her to be trained up to her peak. And when she doing one thing, she fully focus on it. But she is not able to do multi-tasking. I mean, the person who is doing orders not just uploading orders. Have to print out the orders. She don’t know. She thought that just upload them, can already. Then she can just do the rejects goods. I’m not saying that she can’t focus on one thing at a time. But look at what is important and what is urgent.

Doing the rejects, she kept asking me what they written. Is it 5 or 8. Or is it D or 0. If it is really not clear of the digit they write, ask the warehouse. If not clear is it D or 0, ask the Hygiene. Don’t everything ask me. I mean, she can ask me, when I’m not so busy or doing the urgent stuffs. When I’m free to help her, she chase me away. Fine.

Taught her quicker ways of doing things, she don’t listen. She will argue back. Can’t she just listen fully first. If it is not fast after she try it, then tell me. She just loves to argue back with me.

She knows the mouse is sensitive, then be careful when doing the uploading the orders. She knows the mouse is sensitive, yet she ignores what I said. Only until she encountered problem, then she know why I teach her to put away her hands after clicking once. Can she click once and don’t hold the click for ten seconds?

Take for instance, how to spell ‘invoice’. She say she forgot how to spell it. But know how to read it and pronounce it. If she knows how to read it, she should know how to spell it. I’m not asking her to remember the spellings of the difficult to read. All I want, is she to know how to spell the basic common words that everyone often uses in their everyday lives. Told her to read newspapers, magazines, or books. She laughs. Few days later, she ask how to spell ‘such’. I ask her did she read books. She say she don’t read. Then at least bring her dictionary to office since she don’t know how to spell. If not, go to Microsoft Word to search for the word to find the correct spelling. Don’t ask people how to spell basic words. It is telling people that your English sucks. I’m not saying my English is good or great. I did bring dictionary to office in my previous company, cos I need to email to customers and agents. In fact, the staffs who brought dictionary to office (in my previous company), are those who are higher qualifications than me. Their English is much more better than me by a lot.
